My team and I at Ginger are on a mission - to help 100 Female Leaders boldly step forward and rally change.
Daring Voices is an introduction to Ginger’s world of gutsy, vocal female leadership. It’s the chance to break down some barriers, experiment and shake up your communications so that you dare to have the impact your work deserves.
It leads onwards to our Leader’s Voice programme, where we’re working deeply with those 100 incredible Female Leaders (more on that if you ask).
A unique opportunity to meet with like-minded women, test thoughts and ideas in an extremely welcoming environment. It has reignited my desire to focus on my personal development, break through barriers and be a role model for others.

Our world is in a crisis of leadership. Pretty much all institutions in pretty much every country around the world face declining trust in their leadership (proof here).
When you look at many leaders, it’s easy to see why. The old model of command-and-control and ‘show-no-weakness’ management isn’t good enough any more. And it’s not ok to preach one thing and do another.
We (you and me and our tribe) know that great leadership means being more authentic. We know that great leadership isn't about serving old profit and growth models, but that instead financial rewards need to go hand-in-hand with doing good for others.
We want to be part of creating a better world.
We’re women. We’re incredible, life creating, life affirming, generous, inspiring beings. And we’re uniquely placed to do something important for our world because of our loving, caring brilliance. Remember- the Dalai Lama says that Western women will save the world.
In the 8 years I’ve been working through Ginger to train speakers to inspire audiences, time and again it’s the women I train who turn out to be the best and most inspiring communicators.
In comparison to our male peers, we're so often are more emotionally resonant, we're great observers of the details that bring talks alive, we work damn hard to improve and we're great at creating trust through sharing our vulnerabilities.
Yet we hold ourselves back.
Often we wait to be offered the spotlight rather than taking it (see Sheryl Sandberg’s ‘Lean In’); we over emphasize credibility over our big vision (see this) and we’re too ‘good girl’ for our own good.
At Daring Voices there were so many inspirational women present from different industries and all walks of life. It felt like we had known each other for ages! Everyone supported each other and listened to each other. It was a great environment to be in and it was also a lot of fun!

One of the remedies for this, I believe, is for us to dare more in our communication. To enter into dynamic spaces where we can put words to our visions for how we want our company, our industry, our community or our world to look like.
But not just any words; the powerful words. The Daring words. The words that stir things up and create change.
I’ve created one of these daring spaces, where we can be messy, powerful, playful, passionate, teary, muddled, experimental, gutsy, un-PC, heartfelt and everything in between.
I want you to bring the change you’re working on creating in the world - and together we’ll turbo charge it through our time together.
You are invited to join our next Daring Voices event – an intimate gathering of change-making female leaders who want to step up to their next level of visibility and impact.
