Anne-Marie is currently the Chief Marketing Officer for BNY Mellon Investment Management, one of most trusted and largest financial brands in the world.
Born in a small town in Ireland, from humble beginnings, her parents always instilled in her the values of working hard and finding her own way in life.
These values have enabled her to work her way up in marketing to today having a top job in one of the biggest financial companies in the world. In her career, she has been involved in a number of initiatives that in themselves have been game-changing and effected change in society.
During her time at BNY Mellon, she was part of the team who helped bring equality for women in the Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race – through BNY Mellon’s corporate sponsorship. She was also the driving force behind which encouraged BNY Mellon to be the first company ever to donate the rights of its sponsorship to a charity (Cancer Research UK). It was an idea that helped to kickstart an industry wide initiative called CASCAID, which along with her good friend Helen Wagstaff and the rest of the investment industry, raised over £3 million for charity to date.
Anne-Marie and her husband Aminul are proud parents of two daughters - Mya Rose and Leila. Her mission is to kickstart another game-changing movement to ensure her daughters and the world see the importance of building a world of independent women and fearless girls - by ensuring women invest in their future and take their place in the world of finance and business overall.
