Caroline is an experienced investor, having managed global equity portfolios and relationships for international clients and charities for nearly 20 years.
She joined Veritas Investment Management in 2012, an independently owned business investing £3.6bn of client and charitable assets, partnering with clients and companies and investing with a long-term mindset and clear purpose. She serves as a Director of both the UK and Swiss companies. Previously, Caroline was on the Board of Newton Investment Management’s Jersey business, heading up their International Private Clients’ team.
Caroline is determined to change the financial system by rebuilding a bond of trust between savers, investors and businesses. At the heart of this, is responsible investing and business management based on strong values and purpose, rather than the short-termism which has caused a breakdown of trust in the system.
It’s what drove Caroline to become a member of the University of Oxford’s Socially Responsible Investment Review Committee and to set up a charity focusing on tackling youth unemployment in the UK, serving as a trustee between 2015 and 2017. She holds an MA (Hons) from the University of St. Andrews and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
