Managing Director, Group Head of Liquidity Steering Deutsche Bank

“Challenging the world to appreciate and see the maths in everything!”

Niamh is Managing Director, Group Head of Liquidity Steering, at Deutsche Bank. She’s responsible for steering and optimising the bank’s €245Bn liquidity portfolio.

During her career in Financial Services, Niamh has led initiatives to identify efficiencies, optimise financial resources and drive strategic direction, with a focus on information and practical implementation.

Niamh is passionate about education and has been on the Boards of a further education college and a school, seeking to drive their strategic direction and encourage a love of learning in students. She is a keen rugby fan, and a lover of art, music and books!

Bringing all this together, Niamh wants to bring a more positive attitude to maths into society. She wants us all to challenge ourselves to acknowledge how maths is part of the world around us and can be found in art, sport and music.

Niamh would like to speak to schools, colleges and anyone who thinks that they know people who could benefit from appreciating that maths is everywhere.
And employers focused on hiring STEM qualifications, look for some diversity of skills. It doesn't mean the maths skills are compromised!
